Insights, Strategy & the Idea
High Life Travels is the biggest travel agency in western Austria, specialising on city trips to Vienna. Not an easy business, as many in the far West have no idea about all the great things Vienna has to offer. Even the most important Online-Newspaper “Vorarlberg Online” reports exclusively on local topics and events.

We wanted the users of “Vorarlberg Online” to see that a trip to Vienna is worthwhile. So we lured them onto “Vienna Online” the city’s web-page: full of exiting locations, countless events, culture, parties and restaurants.

Creative Execution
For this goal we used a feature both websites have had in common for many years: the Page One Girl.
Our attractive lure Jannine surprised the users of "Vorarlberg Online" by suddenly leaving the website and taking a trip to “Vienna Online”.

The users were invited to follow her by clicking directly on the pictures to explore “Vienna Online” with all its exciting stories and tips with Jannine, our Page One Girl, experiencing the city.

At the end of the picture gallery the users followed Jannine back home to "Vorarlberg Online" - where a suitable offer from High Life Travels was waiting for them.

The use of the feature on both web pages was possible due to collaboration between the web page companies.

Results and Effectiveness
Jannine didn’t travel on her own:
More than 10,000 users followed Jannine to “Vienna Online” to see how much the city has to offer. Returning to "Vorarlberg Online" they were led to a suitable offer from High Live Travels.
So we engaged the users of "Vorarlberg Online" with the brand and made them ready for a real trip to Vienna.
