Script in English

Mark: Abby Maginannnn…aginanin is marketing director of a holiday company. They specialise in exotic holidays for the over 55s who don’t want to leave any money to their kids. So Abby, holidays for the elderly – that’s so charitable of you.

Abby: For a start they’re not elderly and this is a business.

Mark: Urghh.

Abby: The over 55s are a massive market, growing all the time.

Mark: Right.

Abby: And they’re all very active.

Mark: Urghh.

Abby: Which is why we use radio advertising as opposed to things like, newspapers.

Mark: Yeah, coz the print’s too small for them?

Abby: Ohhhh no, (I.E YOU IDIOT) cos like most people, they’re too busy doing other things to read a paper.

Mark: Well, most days people spend on average seven times longer listening to radio than reading papers.

Abby: Exactly.

Mark: So do you have to make your radio ads a little bit louder?

Abby: Ohhhh Idiot!

Mark: (Loud and pronounced) Reach your audience with radio advertising. Find out more at commercial radio – that’s one Oh bless them.
