SFX: Thunder; dramatic music MVO: Finally he appeared, wearing the robes of the Parcelmen. 'Are you Desmond?', he asked, weary from his quest. I signed his scroll, and placed the holy cargo upon my workbench. Behold: Modem. With my tools, I performed the ritual quickly, attaching the fire serpents, the eyes of Modem glowed. Quickly, I entered the passwords handed down by my masters: Adminis Traitor. I left my desk for Outer World, and the WorkerDrones. There was jubilation in every corner. Where the screens had been dark, they were now illuminated by the Book of Face. I raised my hands: 'Run free, my friends, but beware the firewall.' 'Thank you, Desmond!', they wept. ANN: Meet Desmond, a Netsurit in-office IT specialist. He lives in his world, fixes problems in yours. Go to Netsurit.com on the World Wide Web.

Brief Explanation
There is one person everyone answers to in every office - the IT guy. This person wields the power and holds the authority, and he knows it. But this omnipotent figure, part of us, yet removed, has a private world. We want to know the inner dialogue of the IT guy, because we suspect that this sense of power and isolation manifests itself into a hero complex. The loner hero, the gumshoe detective archetype, the cowboy and the fantasy figure on a quest. Because while we never really know who they are, they always get the job done.
