Full script of the ad IN ENGLISH, REGARDLESS OF THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE OF THE AD
SFX: Music; horse neighing MVO: I took a long hard drag on my electronic cigarette. Traveller just rolled into town, a raven-haired beauty needed my help. 'It's decision time, Hombre.' Sure, I could play this one by the book; I could doff my hat, point to the regulations and keep on walking. Or... or I could reach for it. My hand hovered by my side, my fingers twitched. 'Decision time.' Quick as a flash, I went for it, unholstering my Smartphone and pressing it to my ear. 'Yo, Ponto?' 'No no no it’s me, Ronaldo. Listen, I got a lady here that wants to link her blackberry to our mail server.' A winsome little voice said, 'If they find out you’ve helped me, will there be trouble?' 'Lady, there’s always trouble.' This little filly got the scent of an alpha stag. ANN: Meet Ronaldo, a Netsuit in-office IT specialist. He lives in his world, fixes problems in yours. Brief Explanation
There is one person everyone answers to in every office - the IT guy. This person wields the power and holds the authority, and he knows it. But this omnipotent figure, part of us, yet removed, has a private world. We want to know the inner dialogue of the IT guy, because we suspect that this sense of power and isolation manifests itself into a hero complex. The loner hero, the gumshoe detective archetype, the cowboy and the fantasy figure on a quest. Because while we never really know who they are, they always get the job done.
