Raj1: Ello dere ladies! Raj1 here but not my brother Raj2, I’m not telling you where he is. You know what, my mummy is saying to me recently that I have got technophobia because I is not loving da interweb. But den I is saying to her, “I isn’t having technophobia, I is having Arachnaphobia!” and she is saying “What are you on about Raj?” and I is saying to her “Well think about it, WWW, da world wide web, dat means dat da web is as big as da world, den can you imagine how big da spider is in dat web, IT MUST BE ENORMOUS” but den my mummy is saying to me “Dey is gunna catch dat spider in a big net, called da internet” and den I’s feeling much better about it and I’s going onto that world wide web and I’s making me my own website for me and my brother Raj2 called www.corsalite.co.za. You should come have a look at it and have a look around and have a fun time, you could see us in da rajcuzzi or Raj2 picking his nose. It is fun. We like it. Corsa Lite. Da lite Side of da internet.
Brief Explanation

The humour in this ad campaign comes from the fact that these are established cult characters in South Africa and that no scripts are ever written and the scenarios are just ad-libbed impromptu in the studio. Having said that, we have tried to transcribe them for you as true to the accent as we can, but obviously a lot of the humour from the delivery is lost.
