Synopsis:
In each family there are heroes, the memory of which unites generations. They carried a heavy load of war on their shoulders and gave us a peaceful sky over their heads. In honor of the Great Victory Day, we will name more than 2,000 S7 Airlines flights by their names. Let the whole world know about the heroism and courage of real heroes!
Background 9th of May is the most important date for every Russian. Every family celebrate the Victory's day because almost every family in this country was affected by The Second World War. We name streets and cities after the war heroes, their acts of bravery are studied at schools but every family has it's own story about thier hero. So we decided to give everyone the chance to celebrate their hero.Execution- We creared a website and connected it to the national archive of war heroes where every one could tell the story about his or her grandpa or grandma. The system matched stories and names with the timetable of flights and sent the info to the captains of the S7 planes. And every flight during the Victory week was named after the war hero and their sories were heard in the skyes!were told in the skyes!
