BIG WIG: Hey there, Top Dog from a Cell phone company that’s not Virgin Mobile, how are you?

BIG WIG 2: I’m doing fine, Top Dog from a different Cell Phone Company that’s not Virgin Mobile. Can I ask you something?

BIG WIG: Shoot.

BIG WIG 2: We, and by “we” I mean not Virgin Mobile, want to advertise free phones, but don’t like making it so easy on people. Any hints?

BIG WIG: Hmm, if we were Virgin Mobile this would be sticky. But clearly we’re not, so a term like “free” is loose, and relative.

BIG WIG 2: Like our non-Virgin Mobile-ish definition of "night time".

BIG WIG: It used to be, excuse me, when the sun went down. But we start at 9: 01, sharp.

BIG WIG 2: And the free phones?

BIG WIG: No, no, no. Our people who don’t and never have worked at Virgin Mobile have devised a rebate and pricing system riddled with ploys and trickery.
