"Foodsharing" is the first international campaign for donations that takes place exclusively on Facebook. No media budget. No placement costs. One billion potential donors. The only drive: the willingness to share things with each other and to comment eloquently. The automatic Facebook app enables users to comment on their friends’ food images with a provocative, personalized call for donations and sensitize them for worldwide hunger. This way users become ambassadors for Caritas International and give a voice to 870 million starving people - at the only place in the web, where you feel personally addressed: your own timeline.
