In order to make sure none of the children flying on Christmas Eve, late on the night of December 24th, would miss the magic of Christmas, the Buenos Aires office of Graphene, the bespoke IPG dedicated agency to LATAM Airlines, created a touching and memorable initiative. Extending the branding of LATAM Airlines, “Together We Go Further,” the agency created a way for children flyiGrapheneng late on Christmas eve to look out the window of their airplane and see Santa Claus crossing the sky with his sleigh led by a team of reindeer. As midnight approached, the cabin chief stirred the sleepy passengers with a message instructing all children to look out their windows and search for something special. At that very moment, the airline crew projected an image of Santa and his reindeer onto a bank of clouds, creating the real-time effect of Santa flying outside the plane. The effect was possible thanks to a display system in which the image was projected on a translucent screen fiitted onthe airplane windows.
Strategy:
In order to make sure none of the children flying on Christmas Eve would miss the magic of Christmas , we created a way for children get amazed and still believe in Santa and the magic of Christmas.
Synopsis:
- In order to save money in their tickets, some people fly on Christmas eve with their families.- Their parents´ decision could make children miss the magic of the Christmas eve. Latam Airlines asked us to surprise their little passengers.- Make children not to miss the magic of Christmas.
Outcome:
- 13.433.225 people reach with the online video- 5.133.346 interactions.- 100% of children who still believe in Santa Claus and the magic of Christmas.
Campaign Description:
