Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon (RMH) provides a temporary home for families who must travel far for their critically ill child's medical treatment. Unfortunately, few people understand what the House actually does, and even fewer realize that a small donation makes a big difference. This inhibited them from donating any amount at all. Cossette, Vancouver created 73 individual campaigns on the crowdfunding platform GoFundMe, to represent the 73 families that stay in the 73 rooms of the House. Each one was a favourite moment of an actual child staying at the House, which potential donors could gift to families. And instead of having a large fund goal like most crowdfunding projects, we specifically set our fund targets low—demonstrating how even a small donation can help keep families together.
