To promote cult streetwear brand Palace Skateboards Reebok and Adidas partnerships, we partnered with director collective Stu Tanju to craft disruptive and delirious viral videos based on spoofing the sportswear ad genre – sending up the shallowness of Hollywood celebrities trying to be “street”. Written and directed by Stuart Tanju, Jonah Hill, ‘Squash Man’ and ‘EQT’ each rip up the branded content ‘rulebook’, experimenting with parody and ironic scripting to tap into the zeitgeist and resonate with the brand’s disaffected and cynical youth audience.
