"Dhondup's Story" tells the story of the fate of political prisoner Dhondup Wangchen who was held imprisioned in 2008 by the Chinese authorities the making of his documentary "Leaving Fear Behind" Dhondup story told throught the Tibetan proverbs of his homeland, his story also refers to a broad spectrum of problems faced by the Tibetan people, such as the forced settlement of nomatic farmers.The "Voices for Freedom" slogan refers to activists worldwide have been silenced by force by authoritarian governments. In "Dhondup's Story" the "Voices" are represented by dandelion seeds and with them the message that one seed of hope can bring life to thousands more.
