The document signed by Eleanor Roosevelt on the 10th of December 1948 became known as the “Modern Magna Carta” and ushered in a new age of International cooperation and hope.
International music agency MassiveMusic is proud to announce their work in the celebratory film commemorating 70 years of social progress aided by the charity’s work. The film is supported by a touching cover of a Simple Minds classic by St. Solaire. Working with MassiveTalent - MassiveMusic’s artists department - and Eallin production company, the band were selected from MassiveTalent’s roster of talented and emerging musicians to perform a cover of ‘See the Lights’.
Music is a crucial driver of the narrative in the film. Working closely together, MassiveMusic and Eallin found the 90s hit song, which was subsequently re-recorded by MassiveTalent St. Solaire. The haunting but uplifting reimagining of the song is a perfect accompaniment to the contemplative nature of the film. MassiveMusic was briefed to find something beautiful in both music and lyrics which would add another contextual layer of intelligence to the message of the film - To Be Brave and to See The Light (each individual a shining beacon).
Mustashrik Mahbub, director at Eallin commented, “MassiveMusic have been true legends throughout, taking on our brief and smashing it out of the park. It’s been a really smooth process from start to finish. They took our notes and references on board and came back with a list of artist suggestions. After the selection they went about re-recording the track to the cadence, pace and suggestions that we’d laid out with given references. They’ve been the perfect partner throughout the process.”
