Meet Weego, the scruffy yet lovable Bud Light rescue mutt. Once called, (“Heeeere Weego!”) he shows off his unique talent for fetching Bud Light. Be it a bottle, a six-pack or an entire keg for a crowd, Weego knows how to keep the party going. The spot also features a call-to-action for consumers to help other rescue dogs like Weego. For every “like” Weego gets on Facebook, Bud Light donates a dollar—up to a quarter of a million-- to Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation. Debuting this spot on the largest advertising stage in the world, the Super Bowl, was a great opportunity to grab huge exposure. And even more importantly, reach our donation goal quickly. Historically an animal-heavy event, we saw the Super Bowl as an opportunity to integrate Weego in a more meaningful way through raising money and awareness for rescue animals everywhere.
