English Description
We created a fully-interactive video 360° music video for the track ‘Comin’ to get me’ – written exclusively for Doritos. The 360° experience puts Doritos fans in complete control and lets them choose which direction they would like to look.
We took the revolutionary music experience directly to consumers via a custom YouTube channel, which meant all our content was discoverable and shareable. We even created an embeddable version of the 360° video which we seeded with influential bloggers, so that the content would organically spread across the web. ‘Comin’ to get me’ will also be available to download as a free iPhone application. The application, via the iPhone’s accelerometer, enables consumers to enjoy the 360° experience in which they’re viewing the video by moving their arms (or tilting the phone) up, down, left or right. ‘Comin’ to get me’ is the first ever interactive 360° video on YouTube. Up until now, all videos featured previously on YouTube have been a flat / 2D video. As the world’s most popular video sharing site, this is a landmark event for YouTube, Doritos, and the Internet as a whole. It will also be the first ever 360° video on an iPhone.
