For Gillette's film, we aimed to capture the feeling of being a true Lion. The film features British & Irish Lions Rugby player, George North, training with a voiceover taken from Jim Telfer's inspirational speech from the Lions' 1997 tour of South Africa.
Beginning with precise and considered piano, from which powerful and emotive strings swell, it builds in intensity, echoing the emotion of the epic cinematic journey. Working in perfect synchronicity with the VO, our musical score plays a pivotal role in how the viewers take in the film. Our truly captivating track instantly transports the viewer into the Directors' visual and emotional world, whilst also reflecting the dignity and passion in George North’s journey.
