Short explanation

Starring five highly-respected footballers, Gianluigi Buffon, Rene Adler, Patrick Vieira, Clarence Seedorf and Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Heineken’s ‘Legendary Football’ aims to highlight the ‘stage’ of magical moments that UEFA Champions League and football legends create. 'Legendary Football' shows Heineken's view of UEFA Champion's League football through the eyes of a Heineken drinker, the ultimate football fan.
These fans appreciate the UEFA Champion's League as black-tie football, the very best the game has to offer. ‘Opera’, the first of the two endorsements, shows Seedorf lining up to take a shot at Buffon, surrounded by an angelic host, filmed in the stunning setting of a beautiful European opera house. The second film, ‘Pantheon’, takes place in the more historical setting of an ancient Roman gladiatorial ring, with Vieira and Van Nistelrooy competing to win a header at Adler’s goal.

The Heineken brand bearing the founder’s family name - Heineken - is available in almost every country around the globe, and it is the world’s most valuable international premium beer brand.
