As the world’s population of billions of people continues to grow (set to increase from 7.5 to 10 billion by 2050), the issue of food cultivation and nutrition continues to be a topic of real concern. While sustainable farming has helped some, we need to find a solution to nutrition on a greater scale.
Enter new wellness brand, iWi, who is introducing a pioneering approach to sustainable food cultivation and launching three different omega-3 supplements. While most people get their omega-3s from fish or krill, iWi cuts out the middle fish (which actually gets it’s omega-3s from algae) and takes the pressure off our over-fished marine ecosystems.
iWi is about to drop its first-ever national advertising campaign, “Healthy Me, Healthy We” from creative agency Something Massive. The campaign works to highlight iWi’s aim to produce high value nutrition that improves individual health without harming the environment. And who better to explain the concept of how we don’t need to disrupt the marine ecosystem than a quirky “spokesmerm” in the form of actress Beth Dover (of Orange is the New Black fame).
