English Description
SYNOPSIS: A student decides to take 'a break' from his studies and have a Kit Kat bar. He then notices a male squirrel serenading a female squirrel Bollywood style. The VO announces; " When life gets busy, take a break and have Kit Kat, because you never know what life can show you.
CULTURAL SUBTEXT: India is a very academic country where students are under the constant stress of getting good grades. This commercial encourages the youth to take a break and enjoy life a bit. The song sung by the squirrel is originally a famous Bollywood film song, about a guy who fights the system's injustice for his true love. It has a very funny and ironic relevance to the subject of the commercial.
