Brief Explanation
Mizuno's ad for the The Mezamashii Run Project is a meditative piece about the euphoric trance of the introspective runner. The ad gets into the tranquil headspace of a runner and feels the runner's steady pulse and heartbeat. The footage dwells on the runner's journey through the transcendant scenery while the narrator waxes poetical on the spiritualness of running. Music score fingers the pulse of the spot and builds to a dramatic and satisfying conclusion for a job well run.

The music track featured in the film is a commissioned score written in timed relation with the film by Judson Crane. Judson Crane's score highlights the euphoric experience of a runner especially a runner in the Mizuno Tradition. It starts out minimal, matching the mysteriousness and the pulse of slow motion shots. As the footage speeds up and the viewer is called to action, the track crescendoes into an epic orchestral post-rock finish.
