New OTTO-Campaign: Together it’s Christmas
German online retailer OTTO has released a three minute film, which places coming together and sharing in the heart of the narrative.
Wrapping up gifts, the smell of freshly baked cookies, decorating the Christmas tree together - there are so many precious pre-Christmas moments. But the very special Christmas moment truly begins, when people come together regardless of their location or situation they are currently in.
OTTO shows the power of community through five strangers, who are all on the same bus on their way up the Andes to celebrate Christmas with their loved ones. A landslide forces them to stop and turns isolation into integration, distance into proximity. And in the end – strangers into friends. True to the core message: "Together it’s Christmas".
"With our Christmas campaign we want to show, that the essence of Christmas is coming together, sharing and caring for one another. We want to remember these values, that are more important than ever today, and get us in the mood for the forthcoming Advent season", Marc Opelt, OTTO- divisional marketing director and online-retail spokesman, explains.
