Sprite and JWT Brazil launch playlist to help students learning formulas in a funny way

Sprite and J. Walter Thompson Brazil -in its first work for the brand- launched a campaign to help Brazilian students in their preparation for ENEM, the matriculation to public universities (the SAT in the US). Sprite brings a refreshing moment to this stressful period and offers a playlist created by professors aimed to ease the way of learning the tests formulas by hard.

The idea was to turn some teachers, popular for their performance on the Internet, into superstars. Six teachers of five different subjects recorded online classes and songs using musical memory to help students to learn formulas in a more relaxed and funny way. Those videos are available in Sprite Youtube channel and Spotify.

This campaign is part of the change that the brand is going through, because its formula will no longer contain sugar. Instead of talking about its new formula, Sprite and JWT decided to talk about something very important for its target: the test’s formulas and how to bring a refreshing break in this stressful period.

"Our challenge is to approach young adults in the beginning of summer. However, many of them are concerned with the final exams and especially ENEM and entrance exams to universities. With this activation, the idea is to show the before and after of the partnership: before, helping out with studies, and afterwards a RFRSH for them to relax after the exams" says Diego de Oliveira, Marketing Manager for Sprite.

"The expression pop culture has never made so much sense," comments Ricardo John, Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at J. Walter Thompson.

As the SAT in the US, the ENEM is the official test to access public university in Brazil, that is considered the most prestigious educational institution and has limited places. This year 6 million of students will take the test in order to get one of the 238,397 places available in 131 public universities.
