English Description
Many people think that Tourette Syndrome is simply the ‘swearing disease’. But in truth, Tourette Syndrome is not one thing – it is many things: physical tics; vocal outbursts; obsessive-compulsive disorder; anxiety attacks. Sometimes, all at once. It is random, and remarkably unpredictable. So the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada decided to tell as many real Tourette Stories as they could, and then show them in a way that actually mimics the unpredictable nature of the disorder. The result was the @Random documentary project. They created and collected dozens of films about real people with the disorder. And to evoke the unpredictable nature of Tourette Syndrome, these shorter films were then randomly arranged online to make up larger documentaries. So every time someone comes to the @Random website, they will see a completely different collection of stories, making each viewing experience totally different and unique. Just like Tourette Syndrome.

This is one of the films created specifically for the @Random project.
