Renault is launching the new Koleos across Europe: a high-end Crossover with athletic design and refined comfort.
To be closer to its target, for the first time, Renault produced a digital first campaign and reinforce the link by collaborating with an influencer to maximize impact and credibility to the target audience. This was the Founder of Shazam, Chris Barton, in the form of an ‘entrepreneur’s Wisdom Ride’ in their new Renault Koleos Crossover vehicle.
In this Wisdom Ride, Chris Barton tricks young entrepreneur Billy on the way to a startup conference, by convincing him that he is just the driver. Chris takes an alternative road full of surprise, offering entrepreneur tips whilst Billy gets more and more frustrated by the situation... Watch now to see what happened...
“I loved driving the Koleos during the two-day adventure of filming in and around Barcelona” said Barton. “It was especially fun when we drove off road, which also happened to highlight the path of entrepreneurship! My thanks to the wonderful crew and creatives that brought this all to life—and their understanding of Shazam’s singular journey.”
Chris Barton reveals during the film his favorite song is “Isn’t That Dandy” by The Walking Who. Of course, this song is identifiable on the Shazam platform. This campaign is to be broadcast around Europe on YouTube and will be accompanied by social activation, and further digital amplification.
