Brief Explanation
A long-form viral video called ‘Forward’ was created to generate awareness and motivate every young adult in the U.S. to fill out the U.S. 2010 Census. This was developed into a national TV spot, two radio spots and online & new media executions. The inspiration was moving poster art. 'Forward’ features un-choreographed young adults dancing to catchy rock-rap fusion music. The song’s lyrics highlight key message points of the overall campaign. The appeal of the spot was extremely positive among the young adult audience, with tremendous spill-over beyond the intended target.
