Synopsis:
On 6th July, the latest SPIDER-MAN film was released in Mexico: Homecoming, distributed by Sony Pictures. That launch required a communication strategy that would go beyond traditional and everyday media, and so we created “Spider Bomb”: an initiative to bring the friendly superhero closer to thousands of fans in Mexico City. With the help of drones and several hidden cameras, we flew over several strategic points, from areas like Santa Fe and Polanco to the Condesa neighbourhood, to catch people in their offices for a very special photo bomb in a definitively Spider-Man style. The drones descended through the windows of the offices giving fans the opportunity to take selfies with SPIDER-MAN. The idea was amplified in social networks with fans posting content with their particular selfie.
