kworksFiat is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its iconic Fiat 500 with a 90-second film by surrealist British animator Cyriak.
The animation, which portrays how the Fiat 500 has been a much-loved part of popular culture since 1957, will premier today (March 9) at the Geneva Motor Show.
Fiat approached krow with a brief to mark the Fiat 500’s 60th anniversary with a celebration of its enduring style.
The film that krow produced makes full use of Cyriak’s distinctive surreal and psychedelic animation style to tell the evolution of the Fiat 500 from its inception in 1957 to its latest incarnation in 2017: the Fiat 500-60th Limited Edition.
The creative team at krow was Georg Thesmann, Al Welsh and James Sinclair.
The film; FOREVER 500 will feature on Fiat’s stand at the Geneva Motor Show and will be hosted online.
