Brief Explanation
The MTV EMAs are one of the world’s most high-profile and established music award shows. The event is broadcast annually to a potential worldwide audience of over 500million, and delivered through a multi-platform experience offering: a live TV show, full service website, mobile application, social media platform, merchandise initiatives and a marketing campaign that touches just about every type of media.

Execution
Brief‘Made of Music’: Music is at the ‘heart’ of the Europe Music Awards and this year we are literally opening ourselves up to show off our ‘insides’.SolutionThe concept behind this years MTV EMA branding was the musical journey performers and fans take to get to the awards. From the song writing, to the hype, to the live performance!For the shows opening sequence this was represented by a 3D Zoetrope, with multiple layers visualising this frenetic process. Cutdowns from this were used as stings, break bumps and packaging for ancillary shows. We then created a complimentary logo and graphic identity for on-air, print and online purposes.
