Our brand idea for Pot Noodle is ‘You Can Make It’. We position it as the speedy snack that lets ambitious young people spend less time cooking and more time chasing their dreams. So to capitalise on Trump’s inauguration we released an online film about Gary, a small time brickie from the ‘Toon whose own story of success closely mirrors that of The Donald. In typical Pot Noodle style, there was a twist in the tale that left viewers in no doubt where Pot Noodle stood on the new President’s suitability for the job.
Ever dreamt of making it as the most powerful person in the world? Pot Noodle believe you can achieve your dreams, whatever they may be, and show this in a new video depicting a bricklayer, called Gary, having his life transformed and elevated into the Oval Office. (Pot Noodle AD)
