Prada is an international brand. Its full name is known as Prada S.p.A. It is an Italian fashion house which provides luxurious things. The company specializes on leather handbags, travel accessories, shoes, perfumes and other accessories.

History of Prada

Prada’s history is known since 1913. Mario and Martino Prada opened a leather goods shop in Milan, Italy. Even though Mario Prada was against women being involved in business, his daughter Luisa Prada has been running the company for 20 years. In 90s the brand became a premium status symbol.

After a downfall in 2000s Prada has improved its sales. For example, its revenue was $3.91 billion in 2016.

Prada uses a simple black logo which resembles the elegance of the brand. It is made in a minimalistic style. It says “PRADA” in bold, black, capitalized letters. The font used has contrastingly thin and thick strokes. All of the letters have a serif décor but the “R” stands out because of a unique curving.

Unlike other worldwide companies Prada has no particular slogan. In most cases they simply write “Prada” or “Prada. Paris” at the end of their commercials.
