Entry Summary:
Not many people know this, but behind the scenes films were being made back in the 1950s.Our reference for this film is the behind the scenes film of the classic John Ford Western ‘The Searchers.’https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUNUs1rnerAThe tumbleweed blowing through frame is a classic trope of the classic Western. It has been used numerous times in recent popular culture, like in the surreal quiz show Shooting Stars:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SK0QyHcCIwThere’s also a popular tumbleweed emoji.
Synopsis:
A period American voice-over introduces the cast and crew of a classic 1950s Western during the filming of the movie. We focus on one particular member of the crew – a mysterious olive skinned woman. We learn she is the tumbleweed trainer and she has a close relationship with each and every tumbleweed she trains. This is her life and she has amazing skills. The film crescendos with a classic Western duel between the two lead characters. Our hero lifts the cage and the tumbleweed blows through fame in perfect time. She walks off into the sunset.
