Spotify, one of the top music platforms in the world, was finally launching in Japan. The objective of the campaign was to build the path to become Japan’s most loved music service. There were already many music-streaming services who provide ways to listen music. In addition, more Japanese music fans buy physical formats such as CDs and vinyl records than any other country in the world. But what was truly missing was the perfect platform to discover new music. The brief was to convey that Spotify is a music streaming service which enables you to discover and encounter music you didn’t know you’d love to Japanese music fans in a unique way which only Spotify can do.
